The veterinarian responsible of the Istituto Veterinario di Novara guarantees that the activity of the institution respects all laws and regulations.
The veterinarian responsible of the Istituto Veterinario di Novara supervises the working activity of the clinic. He is responsible for staff organization and for controlling all hygienic and technical-functional conditions. He manages the sanitary staff and its activities, he is responsible for device management and maintenance, and he prevents nosocomial infections by supervision of cleaning, sanitization, disinfection and sterilization procedures, etc.
In addition, he guarantees that the working activity of the institution respects all laws, regulations, professional ethics and deontology of personnel.
To accomplish this task, he has to strictly observe and make veterinarians observe regulations about clinical practice, competence and responsibility for drug supply, possession, use, conservation and disposal, correct keeping and editing of acts, registries and compulsory documents, transmission to encharged Authorities of reports, notifications and notices as requested by the law for clinical practice, issue of certificates and clinical documents of patients, correct application of regulations concerning waste and advertising.
